Red Day Celebration 2025

Red Day Celebration, DDPS Dehradun was awash with shades of red as our tiny tots celebrated Red Day with immense joy and enthusiasm! From the moment the students walked into school wearing vibrant red clothes to the cheerful decorations of balloons, ribbons, apples, and red flowers , the atmosphere was full of life and energy.

The day began with fun color recognition activities that helped the little ones identify and understand the color red in their environment. Children enthusiastically participated in a variety of engaging tasks such as:

• Coloring red objects

• Listening to red-themed stories

• Sorting red fruits and toys

• Dancing to playful music in red costumes

Teachers guided the students through interactive storytelling sessions , where characters and objects were based on the red theme. The classrooms were transformed into colorful learning spaces, full of visual aids, props, and red-themed art created by the children themselves.

This celebration wasn’t just about a color—it was about creativity, sensory learning, and joyful participation. It helped strengthen visual perception, improve vocabulary, and most importantly, created an atmosphere of shared learning and happiness.

The smiles on the children’s faces and their excitement to showcase everything red—from red caps to red cars —made the day truly memorable for everyone at DDPS. The event concluded with a delightful photo session , where kids posed proudly with their red crafts and friends.
